We’ve been going a while!

Back in the day, 20 x 25kg sacks of potatoes were chipped by hand, and cooked in dripping in coal-fired fryers!  Don’t worry – times have changed!

Golden Fry has very much stayed in the family, and now Phil and Gerald, (the grandson and son of the founders) head up the business.  Some of our customers have been coming to us for their fish and chips for their whole lives. 

Over our history, we’re proud to have made a name for ourselves by offering premium fish and chips – great tasting, on time, and good value.

Golden Fry have rolled with the times, and now we operate entirely from our chip vans.

We serve from various locations throughout the week (see our Find our Vans page), but we also offer a catering service through Cornwall and beyond.  That’s right – our renowned fish and chips at your event!
