We can cater for anything, from weddings and anniversaries, to private parties, christenings, steam rallies, and even festivals.
Please note – our catering service is only available on weekends, as our vans are in use during the week.
Golden Fry have served at events such as Wheels Classic Car Show, the Heritage Day and Bodmin Carnival.

How much does it cost to hire the van?
As our prices are constantly changing due to our suppliers, please contact us to get a quote.
Do you have a minimum order?
To make sure we cover our costs, we have a minimum order of 100 portions. There is no maximum
Will I need to pay a deposit?
We require a £200 non-refundable deposit, with the remainder payable 2 weeks before the date)
Will your vans be suitable for my venue?
As the Golden Fry chip van is an exceptionally large van, we need easy access into venues, we unfortunately cannot cover venues with low trees or narrow lanes, it must be HGV suitable access for us to attend.
How far will you travel?
We have no maximum distance – we have even covered weddings in France. Please bear in mind however that the distance will affect the price.
How much notice do you need?
Not much! Basically, if we are free on the date then we can cover it for you.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
We can usually accommodate dietary requirements but cannot guarantee we have items suitable for everyone. Please contact us with details if you are unsure.
Do you supply utensils etc?
Yes – we supply wooden forks, knifes, napkins, and biodegradable food boxes.
Can I book the vans for any day of the week?
Our vans are only available for catering on weekend dates. This is because they are in use during the week.
